Top 5 Best Selling Items In July 2009

August 8th, 2009

Below is a list of our top selling items from last month, July 2009.  Not Surprisingly, the majority are cell phones.  However, we were pleased to see an increase in Electronic Cigarette sales as well.  The number 5 item is one of our highest quality Car DVD players that includes TV reception.  All of these items are still in stock, and available at a wholesale price right here on Bigboxstore.com.

1. KA08+ – This credit-card sized phone has been on the rise for a while now, and our sales have certainly seen a jump.  The CECT KA08++ is unique in that it has all the functionality of an iPhone, but comes in a mini size not currently available from Apple.  Many users like the convenience of a smaller phone, and the lower price tag.  This phone also boasts dual SIM capacity, and unlike an iPhone, does not come with any lengthy contracts tying you to one service provider.

2. N8 Mini TV Phone – Another mini phone, the N8 was a popular product throughout the month of July.  This phone comes in the classic iPhone design, with Internet capability and a 1.3MP camera.  It has the KA08’s dual SIM capability and also comes completely unlocked.  On top of all this, it receives television channels on a 2.6″ high-definition flat screen.  It’s only is a matter of time until this phone takes off the way the KA08 has.

3. Vaporizer Cigarette – Our third best-selling product last month was electronic vaporizer cigarettes.  This may be a result of the struggling worldwide economy, influencing smokers to opt for a cheaper smoking option.  It may also stem from increased anti-smoking laws in many countries, forcing smokers to choose electronic cigarettes whose secondhand smoke is odorless and harmless.  Or perhaps it is simply a result of smokers looking for a healthier option that allows them to reduce their dependence on nicotine while smoking.  Whatever the cause, this better alternative to smoking has been quite popular recently.

4. S1 PDA Phone With WIFI – This phone includes a built-in PDA with WIFI connectivity, allowing you to browse the Internet anywhere with a WIFI connection.  It operates Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1, allowing you to use Microsoft programs on the phone, and includes JAVA function that enables you to download games and other applications.  It also comes with a 2.0MP camera, MP3 player, Touch Screen, and everything else you would expect from a top-of-the-line cell phone.  The sleek, stylish design sets it apart from the iPhone, and completes the package of an all-around great phone.

5. JZY817
Car DVD Player with Analog TV Tuner – This car DVD player allows car passengers to enjoy DVDs or TV while driving.  It has a 7″ wide view display screen, and includes an FM Radio tuner.  This item also comes with a ton of available upgrades.  Buyers can choose to add a GPS navigation system,DVB -t function, and 1-2GB SD memory card.  It allows input from an iPod and comes with built-in Bluetooth capability.  With all of the features and capability, it isn’t hard to see why this car DVD player came in at number 5 on our top selling list last month.

The Top 5 Places to Resell China Wholesale Products

July 26th, 2009

Once you have found a China Wholesale Manufacturer that you are ready to work with, its time to start advertising online.  So what is the best place to start?  This post will outline the top 5 places to sell goods online.

1. eBay.com

The largest online site, consumers know they can buy just about anything on eBay.  Whatever you are selling, it is cheap (only small listing fee and a success fee on items sold are charged) and easy to advertise it on eBay.  This site is primarily frequented by Americans, and is therefore probably your best bet for selling goods in the United States.  However, it is used by people all over the world.  You can advertise goods for a set price, or allow users to bid on the price of your goods.

2. Craigslist.com

Craigslist is another great site for selling any type of good or service imaginable.  The advantage of Craigslist is that your buyers know that you are local.  You can choose the city that you are in and advertise your goods for free.  This instills confidence in buyers, as they know that you are a local retailer.

3. Start your own site

If you would rather not go with the giant Internet advertising websites listed in the other top 5, it is a great idea to start your own website.  While this does require some time and technical expertise, it has the benefit of setting you apart from other online retailers.  You can create your own look and feel on this website, basically creating your own store front online.  You sacrifice the amount of traffic (hits per day) that larger websites provide, but in time may get more purchases per hit if your website and products gain credibility.

4. Oztion.com.au

An eBay competitor, this is an online auction site for retailers in Australia.  This site is dedicated to those selling goods down under, and is a valid alternative to eBay.  If your business is located in Australia, advertising on both eBay and Oztion is probably your best bet.

5. eBid.net

Ebid.net is making a name for itself as a legitimately free advertising site.  While it gets less traffic than, for instance, eBay, they charge no listing fees or final value fees.  On this site, you can also choose your country of origin, and sell to domestic consumers.  This, like on Craigslist, ensures consumers that you are a local retailer.
