In the past few years there has been an explosion in both Europe as well as in America for Chinese cell phones. There are two big reasons for this explosion the first being that Chinese mobile phones are cheap which means that they can be disposed off when you are sick and tired of using them. The second reason is that like many of the latest phones Chinese cell phones continue to be updated with the latest technology.
There was a time when Chinese phones were said to be cheap replacements of their superior counter parts manufactured in Japan or Hungry. Today however they are still cheap but they are certainly not replacements because they have become as good as the real deal. Their cheap manufacturing processes and labor have enabled China to capture much of the European and American cell phone market.
If you look at stats from five years ago and compare with today it is not hard to see that one in every three people are using a Chinese cell phone a second phone as compared to one in ten people from five years ago. The economy of both Europe and American too have a big part to play in the popularity of Chinese cell phones as people look for cheaper stuff during economic uncertainty.
According to experts Chinese phones are going to grow in popularity and in three or four years from now will become a big threat to established phone manufacturers. This will and should drive other manufacturers to come out with cheaper phones with the latest features something which will motivate people to purchase their phones as opposed to Chinese phones.
This should be able to spark some healthy competition between Chinese manufactures and ones in Europe. The result of this is of course going to be well designed and innovative new technology for everyone.
